Kimi Antonelli's Chrome rookie sells at its September price after his F1 title
PSA 10s of his 2025 Topps Chrome card sold for $655 and $710 hours after he became F1's youngest champion, as if nothing had happened in Mexico City.

Kimi Antonelli didn't even win the race. He finished third at the Mexico City Grand Prix on Nov. 1. That was enough to make him Formula 1's champion at 20 years and 68 days and take the youngest-champion record Sebastian Vettel set at 23. Hours later, two PSA 10s of his 2025 Topps Chrome F1 rookie #8 sold for $655 and $710. Nobody bid on his PSA 10 like he'd just made history.
Collectors of the last two first-time champions didn't wait for the clinch either. Max Verstappen's and Lando Norris's Topps Chrome cards moved in the weeks before their first titles, not on the day they won them. The serious Antonelli money had already gone to his autographs, starting with the $878,400 rookie auto we covered in October, F1's second-biggest card sale.
Titles get sold, too. Verstappen's 2020 Topps Chrome card, from the set's first year, cooled off in the months after his first championship.
I'd buy a PSA 10 at $700, the youngest champion in the sport's history at a contender's price.
