Stephen Curry's 2009 Topps rookie runs ahead of his Wilkins milestone

His PSA 9 jumped from about $4,400 in July to $6,400 in August, well before Friday's milestone.

Stephen Curry passed Dominique Wilkins for 18th on the NBA's all-time scoring list on Friday night, scoring 31 with eight threes as the Warriors came back from 25 down to beat the Lakers 112-95. His 2009 Topps rookie #321 had made its move long before the record, with a PSA 10 selling for about $10,000 last November 2025 and closer to $19,300 in October 2026.

His 2009 Topps Chrome Refractor, numbered to 500, ran even harder in PSA 10, from $108,000 last December to $234,240 at Alt on Oct. 29, the day before he passed Wilkins.

Wilkins' own 1986 Fleer rookie sold for $17,400 in PSA 10 on Oct. 4, about $2,000 under what a Curry #321 PSA 10 brought at Alt on Oct. 29. Drop to PSA 9 and Curry's card costs about four times what Wilkins' does. PSA has given only 372 of Curry's 6,848 graded #321s a 10, against 1,616 that came back as 9s.

His draft class didn't come along for the ride. James Harden's 2009 Topps rookie in PSA 9 rose only a little over the same year.

Curry is 38, a two-time MVP and a four-time champion who sits 36 points behind Oscar Robertson for 17th. After a year in which his PSA 9 more than doubled, it's fair to say the card has already had its run. But #321 is his rookie in the last Topps flagship basketball set before this season, while his retirement and Hall of Fame induction are both still ahead of him.
