Ty Jerome is scoring like a star on a $10 rookie card
He opened with 45 points, then scored 15 and 10 in his last two before sitting out with a sore back.
Ty Jerome opened the Grizzlies' season with 45 points against Utah on Oct. 21, on a rookie card almost nobody had bothered to grade. PSA has graded 225 copies of his 2019 Panini Prizm Silver, with none added since February 2024. Ja Morant's Silver from the same draft class has 5,259.
He followed the 45 with 28 at Golden State and 31 at Sacramento before cooling to 15 at Utah and 10 at Portland, which still leaves him at 25.8 points a game for a Memphis team that's 6-0. He sat out Saturday's 136-105 win over Sacramento with a sore back.
That thin count is the case for buying a raw Silver around $10 and sending it in. Two PSA 10s sold the day after the opener, for $70 and $1001, on a card where PSA has given a 10 to 38% of the Silvers it has graded.
But Jerome's only full season as a scorer was 12.5 points a game for Cleveland in 2024-25, while he played just 15 games for Memphis last year2. His back has already cost him a game this season. A raw Silver at $10 is a bet that a 29-year-old guard keeps this up through April.
I'd pass at $10. If you want one for the PC anyway, set a saved search and be patient, because two raw Silvers sold for $3 last week while other buyers were paying $10 and up.
