Bidders chase an Ohtani card Topps has not printed yet

An unused redemption for a 2026 Topps Chrome Gold MLB Logoman Shohei Ohtani 1/1 stands at $2,335,000 USD on 30 bids at Goldin. The card it confers does not exist yet.

Goldin prints $2,848,700 USD beside the lot with its 22% buyer's premium. The same lot carried $485,000 USD on 11 bids on September 3, so nineteen bids have landed since.

We posted the first Gold Logoman jersey on September 17, where cards carrying that patch traded four orders of magnitude above the shirt. Bidding closes Saturday; Goldin's listing says the picture on the page is a Topps rendering and the redemption shows no expiration date.
