A free raccoon card just beat every stadium giveaway on record

The Mariners handed out 20,000 Jimothy the raccoon rookie cards at T-Mobile Park on August 5, in a tiered print run. Print runs went from a base up to a parallel /2,000, a blue to 500, and a silver to 100.

One gold 1/1 sat above them. A 13-year-old named Abby got the gold.

Her family listed it on eBay, where it closed on the evening of August 30. A Jimothy silver /100 sold for $850 USD, per Card Ladder via The Athletic.
