Hunt Auctions says Michael Jordan's signed 1998 Finals Game 2 jersey sold for $14,000,000 USD in a private sale it announced October 12. Hunt did not say whether the price includes fees.
Hunt says MeiGray and SIA photomatched the red road jersey to Game 2 on June 5, 1998, a 93-88 Bulls win over Utah.
Hunt says it is the second-highest price ever paid for a sports jersey.
CardWire reported his Game 3 jersey heading to auction at Joopiter on August 23.
