Topps released 2026 Topps Chrome Team Samurai Japan as an EQL lottery on August 26. The box was priced at $149.99 USD, four packs of seven cards with two numbered parallels.
The lottery closed oversubscribed. It is the first Topps Chrome product for Japan's national baseball team.
Previews showed Shohei Ohtani cards and a Roki Sasaki autograph.
