Tom Brady Rips Packs at CardVault's New Los Angeles Store
Erin Andrews, Kevin Burkhardt and the heads of Fanatics ripped packs at the new Westfield Century City shop.
Tom Brady cut the ribbon on the Los Angeles location of CardVault, the card store chain he co-owns, at Westfield Century City on Tuesday night. Then he ripped packs with friends and family.

FOX Sports' Erin Andrews and Kevin Burkhardt opened packs beside him. So did Michael Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics, and Mike Mahan, the CEO of Fanatics Collectibles, who spearheads Fanatics' card business.
“Opening another store in my home state, and in a city that I have so many great memories in is a dream come true.” – Tom Brady
Brady wrote that on Instagram the next day.

The owners and the heads of Fanatics were there.
Brady cut the ribbon with three of his co-owners: Chris Costa, Ed Kane and Tim Bonito. CardVault's other co-owners are Randy Greenstein and Scott Heigelmann.
Rubin and Mahan stood with the owners at the store's vault door. Fanatics holds the exclusive MLB and NFL card licenses, which their subsidiary Topps prints. On Tuesday a federal judge dismissed a collector antitrust suit that challenged them. It's positive for the card industry to see this frivolous lawsuit wasn't given the time of day.

Prime location at Westfield Century City Mall.
The Century City store is on Level 2 of the mall at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., next to Din Tai Fung. It carries singles, sealed boxes and packs from Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, One Piece, and Pokémon, plus signed memorabilia from Fanatics Authentic.
Collectors can buy, sell and trade cards there. The store is an authorized dealer for PSA, Beckett and SGC, and welcomes submissions on site. A vault in the back of the store holds signed and authenticated helmets, jerseys, bats and balls.

The store opened to the public on September 16, according to CardVault's announcement.1 CardWire was in attendance for the opening ceremonies.

The first 25 customers got a Los Angeles hat. The grand prize drawings that day were a Shohei Ohtani Geometric Refractor in PSA 10 and a Justin Herbert signed mini helmet.
"Los Angeles is an exciting and strategic market for us," said Chris Costa, CardVault's co-founder and managing partner. "The city has an incredible sports culture and is home to some of the most passionate fans and collectors in the country."
Store hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 10 AM to 9 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 10 AM to 10 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM to 8 PM
CardVault has scaled to 18 stores nationwide!
CardVault's announcement called Century City its 18th store and its third in California. The company also runs CardVault Breaks, a live-streamed box break service. Inc. Magazine ranked CardVault on its 2025 list of America's fastest growing private companies.
