Angel Reese's Silver Prizm Rookie Doubled on the Dream's Finals Run
She had 30 points and 16 rebounds on Monday as the Dream evened the Finals heading home to Atlanta for Game 3.
The Silver parallel of Angel Reese's 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA rookie, #147, goes for around $35 in PSA 9 this month against about $17 in June. Raw copies took the same path, from around $6 for most of the year to about $13 in October.
Monday's 79-65 win over the Golden State Valkyries was the Dream's first ever in a Finals. ESPN says Reese is the youngest player in WNBA history with 30 points and 15 rebounds in a playoff game.
Collectors didn't pay up when Chicago traded her to Atlanta on April 6. Raw copies kept selling around $6 through the summer and only climbed once the Dream went deep into the playoffs.
Two raw copies sold Tuesday morning for $11 and $15.
As of Oct. 19, the Silver has a gem rate of 6% at PSA, with 27 PSA 10s out of 425 graded. The last PSA 10 sold for $300 on Oct. 10, against $140 in January.
We'd buy a PSA 9 under $40 before Wednesday's Game 3. It's the graded copy that sells most often and the easiest to resell if Golden State wins the title. Reese plays Game 3 in front of more than 17,000 fans at State Farm Arena instead of the 3,500 the Dream's usual home holds.
