Wizards changes Magic boosters starting with Nauctis

Wizards of the Coast is changing Play Boosters and Collector Boosters starting with Nauctis: The Sunken Realm, the first Magic set of 2027.

Play Boosters become Booster Packs with no foil commons or uncommons and higher foil rare and mythic rare drop rates. A foil is no longer guaranteed per pack.

Japan Showcase cards appear in the Booster Pack wildcard slot in traditional foil, while Collector Boosters drop two foil commons and one foil uncommon.

Every Magic Multiverse set from Nauctis on gets God Packs, found in 1 in 1,000 Booster Packs and 1 in 300 Collector Boosters.

Wizards says the changes carry no price adjustments.
