Panini can now make cards of active minor league players, under a non-exclusive, multiyear deal with MLB Players, Inc. announced September 28.
Panini plans up to 12 products a year, mixing minor leaguers with college and retired players. Prizm Baseball and Donruss Elite Extra Edition are among the lines that can carry them.
The first product is Panini Three and Two Baseball in November.
Topps keeps the official MLB trading card license.
